We welcome Xixian Wang who have joined Ishita Bisht, Sakura Fonseka, and Shishir Timilsina, our dynamite social media team.
Xixian is a media and communication university student, with a strong expertise in video editing, new media, and visual storytelling. She is the recipient of several international film and video awards. Based in Beijing, she brings us her skills in multilingual collaboration and cross-cultural project execution.
Lya Oliveira reached out to us from Brazil, and takes the lead in our new project: Lives in verses - Children's poetry from Brazil. Lya is a dedicated public school teacher in São Paulo. She has been leading poetry workshops in the Capão Redondo community, empowering young people to write and share their stories. Her workshops have fostered pride and self-esteem among the participants.
For the new project, she is assisted by a trio of fellow Brazilians currently studying in Canada, Flavio Correa, Manuel Medina and Dr. Ithallus Silva.
