We welcome Xixian Wang who have joined Ishita Bisht, Sakura Fonseka, and Shishir Timilsina, our dynamite social media team.

Xixian is a media and communication university student, with a strong expertise in video editing, new media, and visual storytelling. She is the recipient of several international film and video awards. Based in Beijing, she brings us her skills in multilingual collaboration and cross-cultural project execution.

Lya Oliveira reached out to us from Brazil, and takes the lead in our new project: Lives in verses - Children's poetry from Brazil. Lya is a dedicated public school teacher in São Paulo. She has been leading poetry workshops in the Capão Redondo community, empowering young people to write and share their stories. Her workshops have fostered pride and self-esteem among the participants.

For the new project, she is assisted by a trio of fellow Brazilians currently studying in Canada, Flavio Correa, Manuel Medina and Dr. Ithallus Silva.

The goal of this project is to stimulate and develop the literary potential of young people from Brazilian communities through poetry, revealing to society each participant's perspective on daily issues that impact their lives.

Through workshops led by teacher Lya Oliveira, these young people will be introduced to poetry as a literary art form, its diverse styles, and its importance in different cultures.

Each participant will be invited to write their own poems and, if desired, add a drawing to complement their work.

During this creative process, they will be introduced to the mission of the Children's Design International Collection (CDIC), which focuses on preserving forms of expression for children and young people.

These activities aim to connect participants with the world and inspire everyone involved to appreciate literature as an artistic expression.

You can upload images and documents in various formats. Audio and video files are not permitted at this point, but might be in the future. After you register, you receive a confirmation and activation email.
