1. For Everyone
1.1 Respect Copyrights
- All content on this site (images, text, etc.) is owned by CDIC or shared with permission.
- You may download or print one copy of the content for personal, non-commercial use only. Please include our copyright notice if you do.
- No commercial use, redistribution, or content modification is allowed without our written permission.
1.2 Reporting Issues
If you believe content here infringes a copyright, email us at info@cdic-cide.org with:
- Your contact details.
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- The location of the disputed content.
- A statement confirming your claim is made in good faith.
2. For Subscribers
*Joining our community means you’re 16+ (or have parent guidance if younger) and agree to these extra guidelines:*
2.1 Your Account
Who Can Join?
- Individuals (16+), nonprofits (non-commercial use only), or sponsors.
- Private businesses/entrepreneurs may sponsor but not create supporter accounts.
What can you do?
- Create a profile, connect with others, share images/albums, join groups, and receive updates.
- Use a pseudonym or first name; avoid sharing personal details like exact locations.
Account Management:
- You may delete your account or content anytime.
- We may suspend accounts for inactivity, rule-breaking, or safety concerns.
2.2 Sharing Content
Be Authentic:
- Upload artwork made by children (yours, family, or with explicit permission).
- Describe each piece’s story: materials, dimensions, how/why it was made.
Quality Matters:
- Frame photos to focus on the artwork (like a scan).
- Avoid distracting backgrounds.
- If it is 3D art, please share multiple angles.
Respect Privacy:
- Never share others’ info (usernames, passwords, etc.) without consent.
2.3 Community Etiquette
Celebrate Creativity:
- Praise publicly; share critiques privately.
- Avoid spam, ads, or off-topic links (unless paired with visuals).
Keep It Safe:
- No hate speech, violence, discrimination, or illegal activities.
- Report bugs or inappropriate content to help us maintain a positive space.
3. How We Use Your Content
- We may feature your uploads in site galleries or blogs, but we will never alter them without asking you.
- Your content stays on our site—we won’t repost it on social media.
- To include work in our permanent collection, submit a Contribution Form with originals for authentication and provenance verification.
4. Technical Support & Changes
- We’re Volunteer-Powered, so response times may vary. We’ll do our best to assist. Skilled volunteers are always welcome!
- For urgent issues (e.g., site downtime), email info@cdic-cide.org.
- We may update these terms or fix site errors without prior notice.
