TEDDIES FOR THE COLD SEASON

Some eighty students in grade 4 to 6 were introduced to the Collection last month at the Salon du Livre de Toronto. They had fun making drawings (see our blog) while sharing their thoughts about discarding or preserving their images, and memories. The annual event was co-presented by the Université de l’Ontario français and Radio-Canada Toronto.

This was the latest stop in a series of presentations in French elementary schools in Waterloo, Burlington, and Hamilton, since December. It was also a good opportunity to hand out teddy bears, kindly provided by Visit.Org, and prepared by young children at a corporate charity event.

UPGRADED WEBSITE

Our website has been refreshed with a new theme, color, and up-to-date backend features, such as enhanced anti-spam. The menu and browsing experience are improved and we hope you like it.

One of the first things that you will see on the front page is one of the few AI assisted promo clips that we added to our Youtube channel. Please share with your family and friends. We welcome new visitors, and eager to expand the conversation about children’s voices and the preservation of their images.

VIDAS EM VERSOS

After the annual summer holidays, LIVES IN VERSES project resumed last month in Brazil, and will continue until August.

You can view each poem and digital image that we receive on our dedicated web page. The project brings joy and pride to children who take part and learn from the workshop leader, Lya Oliveira.
